06/28/2009 - Books and Conventions

Dr. Sketchy's will be presenting a special session at Dragon*Con in Atlanta this fall. For those that are planning to attend, be sure to stop by. We will be in the art track at the convention on Sunday night starting at 8:30 pm.

Also, "Scarlett Takes Manhattan", a graphic novel illustrated by Dr. Sketchy's founder Molly Crabapple, is now available for preorder on Amazon.com and is set to release in July of this year. Check it out!

03/28/2009 - Mass Update Goodness

New session info for the next couple of months has been added! Advance tickets are still available for a short time for the March session, but if you miss the boat this month, April and May tickets are now available.

The Dr. Sketchy's crew would like to introduce and thank our newest sponsor, Baby Tattoo Publishing, for their generous contributions that we hope you art monkeys will be leaving our sessions with soon!

Also, for a little extra Dr. Sketchy's in your month (and just to check out an awesome event), be sure to come out to the TASTE Art Event at the Meddin Emerging Artists Theater (M.E.A.T.) on April 4th. Dr. Sketchy's will present two mini sessions sometime between 4-6pm and the doors will be open from 3pm to 3am. For more info, check out their website.

02/16/2009 - Valentine's Pics and WTOC Coverage

Pictures from the February session are now up! Also, keep an eye out for the WTOC newspaper and the three page write up about Dr. Sketchy's in Savannah!

01/13/2009 - February Session Announced

January's session saw the return of Meg and Morganna, and you turned out en masse to see it! Thank you all for the fantastic turn out. We hope to see everyone again in February for a little Victorian Valentine's Day inspired sketching. Look for it the day after Valentine's Day, Sunday, Feb. 15th!

12/05/2008 - Website Revamp

Notice something a little different? The Dr. Sketchy's Savannah site has finally recieved it's long over due makeover. While not every new feature is up and running today, we at least have the ball rolling with such new goodies as mailing list sign up on the site, and advanced ticket sales via Paypal! Enjoy!

11/03/2008 - Seein' Stars on November 9th

This Sunday, Dr. Sketchy's of Savannah will present an evening of "Seeing Stars" with Nicole Edge, dancer, model and costumer extraordinaire.

Be sure to mark your calendars in advance for our December session on December 7th where model Scarlett will return for a tiki themed session. Come say aloha!

10/16/2008 - Trick or Treat with Dr. Sketchy's, October 26th

Come join us the Sunday before Halloween for a few tricks, treats, and, an evening of contests, prizes and lovely life drawing models. $7 admission at the door, $6 for those in costume and make it good! There will be a costume contest!

Also, mark your calendars for our November and December sessions in advance!

09/04/2008 - Post-Apocalyptic Dr. Sketchy's with Model Haywire, September 21st

Please come welcome the newest Dr. Sketchy's Savannah model, Haywire, in a post-apolcalyptic set. This goth beauty and musician will grace us with her presence at Moon River Brewery on Sunday, September 21st. Doors open at 6:30pm, first pose at 7!

07/26/2008 - The next round of Dr. Sketchy's is coming up on us fast!

Art monkeys seeking to draw the red haired, belly dancing bombshell, Scarlett, should plan to be at Moon River on Sunday, August 3rd. The doors will open at 6:30 pm, and the first pose will be at 7. DJ Warhammer will be spinning for us again, and, if we're lucky, Lisa of Moon River will be taking care of our edible and alcoholic needs. Admission is $7 at the door. Cash only please!

06/30/2008 - Session One Photos Up!

06/29/2008 - Dr. Sketchy's Comes to Savannah

The first session of Dr. Sketchy's Savannah branch will be held at Moon River Brewing Co. Doors open at 7pm (though the restaurant and bar will be open long before), first pose at 7:15. Admission is $7 at the door. Our model for the night will be the lovely Lazuli, a pinup model and Savannah Derby Devils rollergirl.
